14 Great Conversation Designers to Hire Right Now
Are you hiring? These conversation design and content professionals from around the globe are currently on the hunt for a job, and their background and skills are top notch!
Conversation design as a discipline is changing. Companies are realizing the importance of conversation designers to strategize, bring clarity, and bridge the gaps between product, UX, and tech to create better experiences in an LLM-based world. The skillset needed to become a successful conversation designer (and land a role as one) is evolving. AI adoption is becoming more mainstream overall, drawing even more attention to conversation design, and what makes a good (or bad) AI-driven experience.
But while I see plenty of “here’s 100+ jobs in AI and design” roundup posts on Linkedin, I also see layoffs, contracts ending, roles going unfilled, and conversation designers looking for what’s next.
Instead of highlighting open roles I see right now (which will inevitably draw 100s of applicants), I wanted to flip that script, and shout out 14 incredible conversation design candidates available for hire right now.
Here’s a quick breakdown of the list:
🔎 14 job-seeking conversation designers
🌍 Based in US, EU, and LATAM and seeking full-time or contract roles
🎯 Experience ranges from interns to full-stack designers, senior and product leaders
💬 Work In: AI, LLMs, UX, content, design, voice, prompt engineering
I also have to add..this list is SO GOOD that one of the designers I intially featured was hired before I had the chance to hit publish. I don’t take creating a curated list like this lightly, so know you’re getting the best of the best here (and in those times I send recommendations privately, too!).
